We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Medical Consultant to join our clinical team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in Medicine for the Elderly, you will play a key role in developing our clinical services for older adults in Cambridgeshire.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our department, with a focus on increasing community provision through the establishment of rapid access clinics and care-home interface work.

You will be part of a dynamic team that provides specialist care on a 'Core' Medicine for the Elderly ward, Frailty Front Door service, outpatients, and specialty referrals. Our team is committed to delivering excellent patient care and supporting the medical workforce in their roles.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking English, enabling effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our five-day Consultant Development programme and contribute to education and training initiatives.

About the Role
  • Salary:£80,000 - £105,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
