Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Surveyor to join our team at Niyaa People Ltd in Cambridgeshire.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Asset Management: Undertake Disrepairs, Awareness Notices, Stock Condition surveys, and other property inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and contract performance.
  • Strategic Planning: Help identify required asset improvements in line with business plans, ensuring high-quality services are delivered.
  • Project Management: Manage cyclical and capital work projects in line with legislation and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Tenure Management: Oversee the delivery of mixed tenure work programmes in accordance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and manage documentation for work specifications and quotations.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must be qualified to AssocRIC, MRICS CIOB, or Degree in Surveying. Alternative qualifications with practical experience will be considered if willing to undertake additional education.
  • Proven experience working with others to deliver property-related works.
  • Experience within a building, surveying, and maintenance environment.
  • Working knowledge of legislations and best practices.
  • Ability to extract and interpret computerised information and documentation.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages.
