About the Role:

Blue Legal is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Executive to join their team in Scotland. As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the Energy & Infrastructure sectors for the firm's key clients, to coordinate activities to raise the sector and overall firm's profile.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pitch legal services to existing and potential new clients in collaboration with internal teams.
  2. Develop and prepare marketing materials to support implementation of business development activities, including creating compelling presentations, proposals, and other collateral.
  3. Responsible for coordinating the firm's directories and awards submissions process.
  4. Coordination of business development events, working with legal teams to develop content and ensure smooth-running of events.
  5. Managing the firm's key client relationships, identifying opportunities for cross-selling, and developing strategies to retain and grow these relationships.
  6. Promoting the firm's thought leadership initiatives to ensure the firm is positioned as a leader in its areas of expertise.
  7. Maintenance of the firm's databases, ensuring client information is kept updated and data is kept in line with the firm's best practice processes.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience working within a legal or professional services firm.
  • Previous experience in business development or marketing, preferably gained within a law firm.
  • Able to analyse complex information and present key points clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels.

The salary for this role is approximately £45,000 per annum.
