About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Acquisitions Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls, a leading provider of building products, technologies, software, and services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and negotiating acquisition targets across the UK & Ireland and wider EMEA region within the Buildings Technology Service & Solutions Industry.
  • Establishing a list of potential targets, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and developing deal hypotheses.
  • Preparing comprehensive business cases, creating financial models, and supporting valuations for executive leadership review.
  • Collaborating with due diligence teams and participating in the M&A process for small deals in the geography.
  • Working closely with the Lead Program Manager on new acquisition integration programs, providing strategic guidance where required.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a strong track record of successful deal completion.
  • Proven project management skills, including stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, and strategic integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification, such as an MBA or ACA/ACCA, is highly desirable.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
