Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Land & Planning Manager to join our team at Crest Nicholson plc. As a member of our Partnership & Strategic Land Division, you will be responsible for identifying, securing, promoting, and delivering planning consent on land with medium to longer term potential for residential development.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. A strong understanding of the planning system and business acumen is essential for this position.


Responsibilities: The Senior Strategic Land & Planning Manager will be responsible for:
  • Directly assisting the Strategic Land Director in achieving business objectives.
  • Managing the integration of strategic land assets.
  • Building and developing ongoing strong relationships at all levels with key individuals and groups of interested parties in the land acquisition and planning process.
  • Having in-depth knowledge and clear understanding of the continually evolving planning system and its emphasis on localism and sustainability.
  • Sourcing and acquiring new opportunities.
  • Delivering time-critical projects within programme and budget.
  • Having business acumen.
