As a key member of the Southern Development Team, you will play a crucial part in planning and delivering homes on public land, working on innovative projects that unlock new communities. You will be responsible for supporting senior colleagues in the planning, design, and delivery of key strategic projects around the south of England.

This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise in house building, place making, and community development to a fast-growing national organization with real social purpose. You will work closely with stakeholders, communities, and a professional team of built environment professionals to secure planning permissions, guide implementation, and create successful new communities where people want to live.

The role involves:

  • Supporting senior colleagues in planning, design, and delivery of key strategic projects
  • Working on ambitious projects at various stages, from concept to delivery
  • Bringing innovative solutions to the planning and enabling offering

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent within the planning and property development fields
  • A good understanding of house building, place making, and community development
  • Experience of instructing/interpreting outline planning permissions, negotiating and implementing s106 agreements, and progressing reserved matters and discharge of condition applications
  • Good project management skills and ability to work with others as part of a team
