Office Operations Coordinator

About Us:
Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic organization dedicated to serving our community. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional administrative support and contributing to the smooth operation of our agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception Services: Greet clients and visitors positively, answer incoming phone calls, and direct callers to the appropriate staff
- Administrative Tasks: Manage the reception area, process payments, perform light data entry and word processing tasks, and assist with bulk mailing projects
- Client Support: Take and deliver accurate messages, provide information to clients, and ensure calls on hold are revisited every 45 seconds
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Proficient in computer skills, including typing and data entry
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
