Expert in Acquisition Integration

Vitae Financial Recruitment is seeking an expert in Acquisition Integration to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various transaction mechanisms, such as asset purchase, completion accounts, locked box, Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) exercises, and application of IFRS 13 to determine accounting treatment of transactions and acquisition costs.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Corporate Finance to shape new transactions for optimal accounting and tax outcomes.
  2. Develop and implement policies for acquired operations, including application of corporate governance and internal controls.
  3. Deliver completion accounts for new business acquisitions and work with third-party advisors throughout the process.
  4. Monitor transaction fees and ensure settlement to terms.
  5. Liaise with third-party advisors on post-completion activities to embed acquisitions into the business.
  6. Support the implementation of new accounting, reporting, and system requirements post-completion of property acquisitions and new entity structures.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) and have demonstrable experience on acquisitions. The salary range for this role is £550-£650 per day (Inside IR35), and the duration is 6 months.
