Mathematical Modeller for Climate Change

We are seeking a Mathematical Modeller for Climate Change to join our team at MPOWIR Mentoring Physical Oceanography Women to Increase Retention. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Applied Mathematics or a closely related field and significant research experience in designing, analyzing, and implementing numerical discretisations of partial differential equations.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and analyze time-parallel methods for atmosphere and ocean flow
- Work closely with Dr Colin Cotter and collaborate with colleagues at Imperial College London, Exeter, Leeds, Surrey, and the Met Office
- Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
A salary of approximately £35,000 per annum is expected for this position, considering the UK location and the level of expertise required.
