Event Coordinator Job Description

The Climate Parliament is an international network of legislators working globally to combat climate change and protect the living planet. Our team is looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to support our project, Parliamentarians for Climate Finance, in 15 African countries.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage logistics for 30 events across an 18-24 month project duration. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with in-country staff, handling administrative tasks, and contributing to our website and social media.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant university degree, at least several years of experience in event coordination, and fluency in spoken and written English and French. Knowledge of climate finance and renewable energy is an asset.

We offer a competitive salary of £1890 per month and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and influential team.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing logistics for 30 events across 15 African countries
  • Liaising with in-country staff and handling administrative tasks
  • Contributing to the Climate Parliament website and social media
