Sales and Business Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at The Motorship in Fareham, UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences across our maritime industry publications and events.
About the Role
- We estimate the salary for this role to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive sales growth.
- You will work closely with our editorial team to understand client needs and preferences, and develop targeted sales campaigns to meet those needs.
- You will be responsible for managing sales pipelines, tracking progress, and reporting back to senior management on sales performance.
- You will also be responsible for generating new business leads, pursuing sales opportunities, and closing deals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably within the maritime industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and motivation.
