The Job Description:
  • Deliver bespoke lessons to meet the unique needs of pupils with MLD, ASC, SLD, and SEMH.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Employ a range of teaching strategies, including visual aids, sensory tools, and assistive technology, to engage pupils.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging pupils to participate confidently.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, adapting instruction and materials as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience working with pupils having MLD, ASC, SLD, and/or SEMH is desirable.
  • Demonstrate expertise in differentiated teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and the emotional well-being of all pupils.
