About the Role

This SEN teaching assistant opportunity involves providing vital support to children with a range of special educational needs in a school setting.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality support to students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with children, ideally in a SEN setting.
  2. An empathetic and patient approach to working with children.
  3. Understanding of the needs of students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other special educational needs.
  4. Desirable: relevant qualification in SEN or Teaching Assistant.
  5. Enhanced DBS check required.
