Shift Manager Job Description:

GXO Logistics is looking for an experienced Shift Manager to join our team in Northampton. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing operational activities, achieving targets, and maintaining high customer service levels. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational activities to achieve targets set by customers and the company.
  • Review operational volumes and forecasts to calculate labour requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse related operational processes and procedures.
  • Coach, mentor and support operative teams, implement structured development programmes.
  • Maintain high customer service levels and correct team culture.
