Clinical Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at our luxury care home in Wanstead, East London.

As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

You will lead and inspire the care team, oversee clinical operations, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the nursing and care staff, providing clinical expertise and guidance
  • Oversee the care planning process, ensuring residents' individual needs are met with dignity and respect
  • Monitor clinical care standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team
  • Conduct regular audits, including medication management and care plans, to ensure best practices

Requirements:

  • Qualification as a Registered General Nurse with a current and valid NMC pin number
  • Proven management experience within a care home setting
  • Strong clinical skills with an understanding of CQC requirements, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, HSE (Health & Safety Executive) requirements, and other relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication with a positive, flexible, and innovative attitude
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
