Director of Public Engagement

The Wildlife Trusts are a leading conservation charity with a mission to protect and preserve the natural world. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Head of Public Affairs.
As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our public affairs strategy, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting our work to the public and media.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a public affairs strategy that aligns with our conservation goals
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including politicians, policymakers, and media representatives
- Promoting our work to the public and media through various channels, including social media, press releases, and public events
- Providing strategic advice to our senior leadership team on public affairs matters
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of experience in public affairs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are a motivated and ambitious individual who is passionate about conservation and public affairs, we would love to hear from you.
