Job Description

This is a full-time role within the Offender Management unit at HMP Thameside, delivered by Catch22. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with sentenced prisoners and contribute to their rehabilitation.

We are seeking a dedicated individual who can identify, assess, address, and reduce risks of offenders. In this role, you will have the chance to motivate them to engage positively within the custodial regime and support their reintegration into society.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other agencies. You will need to be resilient in high-pressure environments and attentive to detail when recording work and meeting deadlines.

The salary for this role is approximately £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Awareness of factors contributing to offending behaviour
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation principles
  • Understanding of professional boundaries when working with vulnerable individuals

You will also need to be willing to undertake additional training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
