About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and legislation, conducting regular HSEQ reviews and audits, and providing guidance on HSE matters. You will also collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive safety culture within the workplace and analyze data from audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of incidents and near-misses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and legislation.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective control measures.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive safety culture within the workplace.
  4. Provide expert guidance on HSE matters, ensuring adherence to company policy and legislative requirements.
  5. Monitor and analyze data from audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:
  • A recognized HSE qualification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Significant experience in a Health and Safety role or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
