About the Position

We are looking for a skilled HLTA to work closely with teachers, support staff, and pupils to deliver high-quality education and care. This role involves working with children and young people aged 5-19 who have a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and associated learning challenges.

Key Tasks:
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement tailored interventions and activities.
  • Contribute to creating individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
  • Support the multidisciplinary team in promoting pupil's holistic development.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children or young people with SEND, preferably within an educational setting. A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive is required. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies (training can be provided). Approximately £25,000 per year salary and benefits package available.
