About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team at this outstanding specialist day school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and be able to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the teacher in delivering high-quality education to children with special needs.
  2. Develop and implement individualized education plans to promote student growth and development.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • At least three years' experience as a Teaching and Learning Assistant or classroom assistant.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of education practices and procedures relating to child welfare, safety, and education.
