As a highly motivated teacher, you will lead a unique mixed-age class of 6 pupils in a scenic rural location. This temporary position starts in January and runs through to Easter, with potential extension until Summer.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating engaging lesson plans that cater to individual pupil needs.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Regularly assessing and recording pupil progress, adapting your approach as needed.
  • Collaborating with support staff to ensure pupils with special educational needs receive necessary resources.
  • Fostering open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Participating in school activities and contributing to our dynamic community.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary setting, with a deep understanding of the curriculum.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • Experience working with children who have special educational needs.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
