Primary School Behaviour Mentor – Key Stage 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teaching assistant to provide specialist behaviour support in a primary school setting.

  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies for pupils requiring additional support.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to identify and address underlying causes of challenging behaviour.
  • Support pupils in developing self-regulation skills and improving their emotional intelligence.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Significant experience working with pupils displaying challenging behaviour.
  • A deep understanding of child development and the factors influencing behaviour.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and parents.
  • A proven track record of improving pupil outcomes and promoting positive behaviour change.

Package Details:

  • £26,000 - £34,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • A dedicated consultant to provide ongoing support and guidance.
