This temporary key stage 2 teaching position in Ormskirk offers a competitive daily rate of £162.31 - £182.94.

As a primary specialist teacher, you will work with a small, supportive school in rural Ormskirk to deliver engaging lessons to a unique mixed-age class of Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils with EHCPs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of a small class.
  • Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Monitoring pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with support staff to ensure pupils with EHCPs receive necessary support.
  • Maintaining effective communication with parents and guardians on pupil development.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, with a deep understanding of the curriculum.
  • Proven ability to manage classrooms, particularly small or mixed-age groups.
  • Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
