About the Role:

This Business Development Executive position supports the Europe and Middle East Corporate practice at Reed Smith LLP, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. The successful candidate will work closely with the global Corporate BD team on business development tactics for the practice, enhancing the firm's profile, strengthening relationships with key clients, and creating opportunities for collaboration across groups. While primarily a UK and EME focused position, the successful candidate will work with peers, both BD and lawyers, worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development Managers in various projects related to business development efforts associated with the Corporate practice group.
  • Work with others to coordinate pitch materials, presentations, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs); facilitate presentation preparation by assisting with creating and editing materials.
  • Work closely with U.S., EME, and Asia counterparts to ensure a comprehensive offering to our clients.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience in a professional services marketing role is desirable but not required.
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills, strong writing ability, a positive attitude, and great work ethic.
