Job Title: Clinical Research Midwife

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Midwife to join our team at West Middlesex Hospital. As a key member of our reproductive health and childbirth team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to women participating in clinical research studies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and research governance standards.
  • Provide clinical care to women participating in studies, including sample and data collection, and screening.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols, ensuring they meet the needs of women and the NHS.
  • Collaborate with the research team to identify and address research gaps, and develop new studies to improve women's health outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Registered Midwife with a strong clinical background and experience in research.
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the area of specialty or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of research governance, clinical trials management, and data collection and analysis.
