Job Title: Advanced Clinical Research Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Research Practitioner to join our team in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with undiagnosed and undifferentiated conditions, working closely with the senior medical team to develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines. They will also be involved in developing and supporting audit and research projects, and participating in up-dating and implementing departmental policies, protocols and guidelines, in line with national guidance and contemporary evidence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical advice and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of audit and research projects
  • Participate in the up-dating and implementation of departmental policies, protocols and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the senior medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Registered RGN/HCPC
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Qualification in Advanced Assessment Skills with evidence of clinical practice
  • Registered independent non-medical prescriber
  • Teaching qualification
