Job Title: Clinical Research Midwife

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Midwife to join our team. As a Clinical Research Midwife, you will play a vital role in conducting clinical trials and research studies in women's health, working closely with our research team to ensure the successful delivery of studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical trials and research studies in women's health, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Recruit and screen participants for clinical trials, obtaining informed consent and ensuring participant safety.
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement study protocols, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of studies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of study data, ensuring compliance with data management and quality control procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, research team members, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of study requirements and participant expectations.
Requirements:
  • Registered Midwife with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Post-registration experience in midwifery, preferably in a research or clinical trials setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
