Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Assistant Practitioner to join our team at C/O Somerset GP Education Trust, Somerset LMC. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting the smooth running of clinics by performing clinical and administration tasks on behalf of GP Practices. The post holder will be responsible for dipping urine, taking blood pressure, performing ECGs, and phlebotomy. They will also administer vaccinations, extract information from clinical letters, and support the PCN Manager and Clinical Lead in delivering network contract specifications.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive annual leave package, bank holiday entitlement, and access to the NHS Pension Scheme.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be able to travel between different locations and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
