Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated and skilled Mental Health Support Workers to join our team in Yeovil. As a key member of our team, you will deliver high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs, empowering them to live as independently as possible.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering both clinical and social care, customised to the specific needs of each individual. Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care and Support: Assisting clients with daily tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Challenging Behaviour Support: Managing and responding to challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism
- Crisis Intervention: Providing critical support during times of crisis, helping clients navigate difficult moments
- Promoting Independence: Empowering clients to live as independently as possible, building their confidence and skills
- Medication Support: Ensuring that clients receive their medication safely and on time
- Specialist Clinical Care: Addressing complex clinical needs with expertise and compassion
