Planning Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning Officer to join our team at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. As a Planning Officer, you will play a key role in determining applications and delivering high-quality development in our borough.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of town planning principles and policies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve our goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of planning applications and pre-application advice requests
- Deliver high-quality development in line with our Local Plan and policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve our goals and objectives
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to applicants and stakeholders
