Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Planning Officer to join our Development Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the determination and delivery of high-quality development, providing a nationally recognised 'platinum service', exceeding targets.

As a Senior Planning Officer, you will enjoy a balanced work-life with a minimum of two days in the office and the flexibility to work from home for the rest of the week. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including 26 days annual leave (pro rata) (increasing to 29 days after 5 years continuous Local Government service), plus an additional day in December. Membership of the Local Government (CARE – Career Average (Revalued Earnings) Pension Scheme), options of car or cycle loans through salary sacrifice, as well as invaluable training opportunities for CPD and personal development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
