Planning Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning Officer to join our team at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. As a Planning Officer, you will play a key role in determining applications and delivering high-quality development in our borough.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of town planning and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing your own case load of planning applications, pre-application advice requests, and other work. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality development and improve the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of planning applications and pre-application advice requests
- Deliver high-quality development and improve the quality of life for residents
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver projects and initiatives
- Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders and the public
- Stay up-to-date with planning policies and procedures
