Role Overview

We are looking for a talented People Advisor to join our team in the North East area, working on a temporary basis with a competitive hourly rate and flexible working arrangements.

This role involves working Monday to Friday, 9-5, in the Morpeth area (NE61), with opportunities for hybrid working. The hourly rate is £19-21ph, paid weekly via an umbrella company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including casework, dispute resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  2. Supporting the development and review of people policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to deliver People and Culture Projects that drive business improvement.
  4. Attending internal hearings to provide expert advice on disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance issues.
  5. Building strong relationships with employees and managers to promote a positive workplace culture.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a HR role, preferably in employee relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary Range:
