Job Description
Social Care ServicesAs a Family Support Worker with Randstad UK, you will become an integral part of an experienced Social Care team, providing valuable support to senior Social Workers and management teams. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the delivery of quality social work services, ensuring that children and families receive efficient and effective support.
- Assist social work managers in providing quality social work services
- Undertake tasks allocated by the Team Manager to support social workers
- Coordinate family support, diversionary, and respite services
- Assist with practical tasks including transport, advice, and guidance on parenting tasks
- Report identified safeguarding concerns to the Team Manager and/or Social Worker
- Support social work staff with administrative tasks, referrals, and duty tasks
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through our comprehensive training and e-learning programme. We offer a competitive salary of £12.86 per hour (Band 4 pay scale), full-time hours of x37.5 per week (part-time hours considered pending experience), and a range of benefits including a competitive mileage allowance and enhanced holiday package.
