Job Overview

Randstad UK is keen to recruit experienced Family Support Professionals for roles across the Northern Trust area. As a valued member of our Social Care team, you will provide invaluable support to senior Social Workers and management teams in delivering efficient and effective services to children and families within the Family Intervention Team.

Salary and Benefits
Band 4 pay scale £12.86 per hour
Full Time Hours x 37.5 per week (Part time hours also considered pending experience)

Responsibilities
Assist social work managers in providing quality social work services by undertaking tasks allocated by the Social Work Team Manager to support social workers in discharging their duties.
Complete tasks such as coordinating family support, diversionary and respite services, sourcing appropriate family support services and other resources.
Collate essential information and report this back to the Social Worker/Team Manager to assist in assessing circumstances and needs.
Assist with practical tasks including transport in respect of identified appointments, delivering advice and guidance in relation to parenting tasks for example routines and boundaries, behaviour management, home care management, budgeting and essential form filling as necessary.
Deliver contact services including supervising contact arrangements. This will include transport issues and ensuring completion of appropriate documentation.
Report to Team Manager and/or Social Worker immediately all identified safeguarding concerns or other areas of concern or risk identified.
Support social work staff as requested with administrative tasks in relation to making referrals to other agencies, setting up meetings including room bookings and supporting with duty tasks.
