Job Overview

SS&C Technologies Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and organized Bid Manager to join our Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) team. As a key member of our Sales organization, you will play a critical role in supporting business development and marketing activities related to growth targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing/coordinating RFPs/RFIs and the process supporting the engagement, including internal briefings, coordinating the response, client meetings, workshops, and more. This will involve working closely with other businesses within SS&C to ensure seamless execution and delivery of high-quality responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the use of sales management software, Hubspot, across the team
  • Develop and maintain best practices in response provision, improving quality and efficiency
  • Own and maintain the response database
  • Manage the process to build/engage consultant relationships
  • Work with Marketing to support lead generation and sales initiatives
  • Ensure up-to-date data and collateral are available for the team
  • Facilitate and track management reporting

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and quality-driven individual with excellent organizational skills
  • Good planning skills with experience meeting deadlines
  • Commercial and client-focused with good influencing skills
  • Good oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of the sales process and experience within the UK financial services market
  • Good product understanding of industry and regulatory developments
  • Flexible and able to set own priorities
  • Analytical with a pragmatic problem-solving approach
