Community Engagement Specialist

About the Job
Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a skilled Participation and Engagement Officer to join its team.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with service users, stakeholders, and partner agencies to design and deliver services from the perspective of those who need them.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about community engagement and participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish effective engagement mechanisms to ensure services are designed and delivered from the perspective of service users.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and partner agencies to achieve shared goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, partners, and colleagues at all levels.
- Maintain accurate information on various systems and databases.
- Prepare presentations, engagement activities, and comprehensive reports.
- Stay up-to-date with legislation and its impact on participation and engagement developments.
Requirements
- Demonstratable knowledge and experience in the application of the National Standards for Community Engagement and the Scottish Government Planning with People Guidance.
- Previous experience of working with people who use services, including unpaid carers and communities, to effect change and overcome barriers to engagement.
- Ability to travel throughout Fife.
- Experience of delivering a customer-focused service.
