About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Resident Doctor to join our Oncology team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Resident Doctor, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to review and treat a wide range of inpatients with short and long-term, complex conditions.
  • Formulate plans under the supervision of the Consultant in Charge or a leading Professor.
  • Carry out comprehensive handovers from outgoing Resident doctors to incoming Resident doctors at each shift change.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on electronic patient records and any paper notes.
  • Provide urgent medical attention to staff and visitors until they are admitted under a consultant or transferred to an NHS facility.

Essential Criteria:

  • GMC registration and be in good standing with GMC.
  • Completion of Foundation training and at least 2 further years of Oncology.
  • Oncology patient experience within in-patient/outpatient settings.
  • ALS trained.

Desirable Criteria:

  • FRCA/ FICM/ MRCEM/MRCP.
  • NHS training programme in general medicine/oncology.
