Resident Oncology Physician

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Resident Doctor to join our Oncology team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Resident Doctor, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently to review and treat a wide range of inpatients with short and long-term, complex conditions.
- Formulate plans under the supervision of the Consultant in Charge or a leading Professor.
- Carry out comprehensive handovers from outgoing Resident doctors to incoming Resident doctors at each shift change.
- Maintain accurate documentation on electronic patient records and any paper notes.
- Provide urgent medical attention to staff and visitors until they are admitted under a consultant or transferred to an NHS facility.
Essential Criteria:
- GMC registration and be in good standing with GMC.
- Completion of Foundation training and at least 2 further years of Oncology.
- Oncology patient experience within in-patient/outpatient settings.
- ALS trained.
Desirable Criteria:
- FRCA/ FICM/ MRCEM/MRCP.
- NHS training programme in general medicine/oncology.
