Position Overview:

The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth is looking for a dedicated Palliative Care Resident Physician to become a vital part of our Hospice Community Specialist Palliative Care Team. The successful candidate will deliver expert medical assistance to patients across diverse environments while working in synergy with our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee patient care in the Inpatient Unit and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient documentation and fulfill administrative obligations.
  • Evaluate and respond to the medical requirements of patients.
  • Engage in educational sessions and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to clinical governance and participate in research initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • MBBS or an equivalent medical degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience with full GMC registration.
