Work Schedule:
Most physicians typically prefer 1 x 24-hour shift per week or 2 x 12-hour shifts. Full-time options are also available. The schedules are organized well in advance, offering considerable flexibility to accommodate your other responsibilities.

We have a remarkable career opportunity for Critical Care/Anaesthetic trained airways trained SPR ST4+ doctors to become part of our Resident Doctors team.

This role provides a fantastic chance to collaborate with our private patient consultants, gain insights from specialized nursing staff, and engage in critical care pathways as directed by the designated consultants.

HCA Healthcare UK hospitals are recognized as 'good' or 'outstanding' by the CQC and handle a wide array of complex cases.

This is a Consultant-Led organization, and you will be supported in managing the daily operations of the Critical Care Ward and ITU units, overseeing medical care from admission through to discharge.

You will independently manage the medical care of inpatients, which includes clerking new planned and unplanned admissions, conducting daily patient ward rounds, and responding to medical emergencies.

Perform medical procedures as necessary and as requested by the lead consultant, including vascular access (e.g., insertion of central venous catheters, arterial lines), airway management (e.g., intubation, tracheostomy management), acute pain management/epidural catheter placement, ultrasound utilization, ventilation management, and optional skills in other procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- MBBS medical qualification
- An additional post-graduate qualification (FRCA/FICM/MRCEM/MRCP or equivalent) is desirable
- NHS Training in Intensive Care Medicine or Anaesthesia to ST4 and above, or equivalent
