Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resident or Non-Resident Oncology Fellow to join our medical team at The London Clinic. This role is located at our state-of-the-art Cancer Centre in Central London, and we are offering a highly competitive salary up to £75,000 per annum, which can include additional funding and support with educational/training fees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and medical support to patients on the Oncology ward and Outpatient Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy Units.
  • Conduct assessment and clinical evaluations in conjunction with Consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Work closely with Consultants and nursing staff to support patient treatments and management of symptom control.
  • Support management of acute oncological conditions, including neutropenia sepsis, treatment-related toxicities, and other oncological emergencies.
  • Participate in daily ward rounds and unit meetings, and ensure all records are efficiently and accurately maintained.
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration with License to Practice and an MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of General Medical Training (FY1/2) with post-qualification medical/surgical experience.
  • Experience of acute medicine and high dependency/intensive care, and confident in the initial management of a deteriorating patient.
  • Ability to assess and manage patients presenting with acute oncological symptoms, and perform all routine clinical procedures.
  • Effective communication and clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and Consultants.
