Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Oncology Fellow to join our team in supporting the brain tumor stereotactic radiotherapy service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of clinical oncology, including outpatient clinics, systemic anticancer treatments, radiotherapy planning, and acute oncology inpatient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the brain tumor stereotactic radiotherapy service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Gain experience in outpatient clinics, including assessing and managing patients with various types of cancer.
  • Develop skills in radiotherapy planning, including treatment planning and delivery.
  • Contribute to the on-call rota within the oncology team, providing 24/7 coverage and support to patients and colleagues.
  • Study for an MD/PhD at Imperial College, with dedicated time allocated for research and academic pursuits.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Completion of Foundation Year 2 or equivalent experience.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
