Clinical Research Position – Renal & Melanoma Unit

This is a one-year fixed-term contract for a Clinical Research Physician within the Renal and Melanoma-oncology Unit.

The role will involve a mix of clinical and translational renal and melanoma-oncology research, focused on the management of these disease areas.

There are several ongoing clinical research projects across the unit, and physicians have a strong track record of successfully completing their projects, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting their work at national and international meetings.

About the Role

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust has an international reputation for high-quality patient care, education, and research, and its partnership with The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) has created the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe.

This position is based within the GI/lymphoma unit at The Royal Marsden, which is world-renowned for excellence in clinical care and clinical research.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical and translational research in renal and melanoma-oncology

• Collaborate with physicians and researchers to develop and implement research projects

• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international meetings
