Attractive salary plus uncapped commission and company car
We are seeking a Sales and Events Specialist to join our proactive sales team. As part of this role, you will manage and target waste management contracts for various special events, including major sporting competitions and peak-summer festivals.
You will be responsible for building on existing relationships to secure repeat business, targeting new clients, managing your own time and diary, and ensuring that events run smoothly and profitably. Your duties will include:
- Working closely with operational teams to guarantee smooth delivery of waste containers and high service levels.
- Driving recycling and segregation at events to help customers achieve their waste management goals.
- Developing comprehensive knowledge and understanding of waste management.
- Prior sales/account management experience in the waste management sector is essential.
- A confident 'can do' attitude and passion for sales are required.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is necessary.
- A full UK driving license is also required. The working hours will be 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday; however, you may occasionally be required to attend weekend events. The role will be based at our offices near Maidenhead with the possibility of hybrid working.
