Purpose of Job:

The purpose of this job is to provide personal care and support to a vulnerable child with cerebral palsy-dystonic type. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing personalized care plans tailored to the child's needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.

About the Child:

The child requires assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and other activities of daily living. They also require ongoing support to maintain their physical and emotional well-being.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Create and implement effective care plans, taking into account the child's needs, preferences, and goals.
  2. Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and other activities of daily living, ensuring the child's dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  3. Maintain accurate records of care provided, ensuring seamless communication with the client's family and healthcare team.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a care assistant role, preferably with children or individuals with special needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients and families.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Working Conditions:

You will be working within a friendly and supportive work environment, with a dedicated team of carers and support staff. You will be required to work flexible shifts, which may include day and night shifts, depending on the client's needs.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from £13-£15 per hour. You will also receive flexible scheduling and opportunities to work with a dedicated team of carers and support staff.
