Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at COSMO Restaurant Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our restaurant operations and contributing to the achievement of our business aims and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results in restaurant operations.
  • Develop and implement effective succession planning to ensure a smooth transition of leadership roles.
  • Make strategic decisions that impact the success of the business, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labour costs, and wastage figures to ensure they are within company parameters.
  • Rota team members to maximize customer service and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures, standards, and licensing laws at all times.
  • Recruit and develop a winning team by effective talent management and development of all team members.
  • Maintain a motivated team, creating a great learning atmosphere and work environment in the restaurant.
  • Cascade knowledge, drive training, and provide feedback to identify improvements and areas for development.
  • Exceed service expectations and inspire the team to deliver fantastic customer service.
  • Promote brand values through following company's marketing strategy and creating local marketing initiatives to maximize sales.
  • Perform any reasonable duties as required to contribute to the achievement of business aims and objectives.

  • Availability to work late shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • Hardworking and prepared for challenges.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Health and Safety Level 2.
  • Food Safety Level 3.
  • First Aid.
  • Fire Marshall/Warden.
  • Personal Licence.
