SEN Teaching and Learning Specialist

Job Summary: I C Talent Ltd is seeking an exceptional SEN Teaching and Learning Specialist to join our team at a Special Educational Needs School in the UK. As a key member of the education support staff, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide individualized support to pupils aged 11-16 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning support to pupils, developing their skills and confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to each pupil's education and care.
- Implement specialist interventions as directed by SENCO or other professionals to support pupils' specific needs.
- Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers, parents, and other professionals as required.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 6 months of experience working with SEN children in the UK. You must also have an active DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one. Availability for full-time work during term time only is essential.
