Teaching Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Support Specialist to join our team in a Primary School in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of the school's staff, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and providing individualised assistance to students.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children and possess strong communication skills to build positive connections with students, parents, and colleagues. Adaptability to various classroom settings is essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a highly motivated team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers in creating additional learning materials
- Cultivating a supportive and safe classroom atmosphere
- Providing personalised support to students on an individual basis
- Aiding in implementing behaviour management strategies
Salary: £85-£95 per day based on experience
