About the Role:

We're seeking a talented individual to join our 18-month Graduate Development Programme as a Commercial Graduate within the National Energy System Operator (NESO). This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, working on complex problems that will shape the future of Great Britain's energy industry.

You'll work closely with industry stakeholders and colleagues to ensure the electricity system meets the industry's needs and expectations. Your analytical skills will be essential in predicting energy needs for the coming decades, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and recommending sustainable developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Predict the nation's energy needs for the coming decades.
  • Lead analytical work defining long-term changes in the electricity transmission network.
  • Collaborate closely with industry stakeholders to ensure the electricity system meets industry needs.
  • Investigate performance issues, identify opportunities to improve processes, and recommend sustainable developments.
