We are seeking an Energy Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team at National Grid plc, based in Warwick. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of £58,000 - £80,000, dependent on capability.

About the Job

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our energy infrastructure strategy, driving innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. As an Energy Infrastructure Development Specialist, you will be responsible for managing external interfaces, ensuring regulatory compliance, and securing funding submissions for business-critical projects.

You will work closely with our project development and delivery teams, leveraging your expertise to advise on regulatory obligations and risks. Your proactive approach will enable you to highlight regulatory risks, ensuring better outcomes for Strategic Infrastructure and our stakeholders.

  • Experience in UK regulation, economic policy development, investment planning, or similar fields is essential.
  • A strong background in influencing senior stakeholders, virtual teams, and commercial value drivers is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and financial acumen skills are required.
